Introducing Exotic Treks Tours.
On November 9th, 2000 we started making Exotictreks.com, We are here to provide a service to the travel industry World Wide. As we all know and are experiencing, the travel industry is down and needs a big boost. If we can help in some small way we will try our best. At the same time give the travel consumer the option of planning from a great source of information. As in what kind, and how extreme, as well as how expensive, an adventure they would like to take. To this extent we would like to make available as many resources as possible to draw from. There are guide services out there we would like to reach and for them to reach you. From anything like flyfishing in China, or New Zealand, to Bass fishing on the Amazon River. Maybe you would like to go to the Kelongs in Malaysia for some awsome fishing, or on a jungle trek in Taman Negara, or walk the Head Hunter Trail in Malaysian Borneo.
We at Exotic Treks will do our best to get you there.
Here is a look at our main page. Click Here.
As a family of guides in my home state of Oregon, I am very familiar with the guide service, and want to help the small family run company, as well as the larger established companies make there way into the travel industry world wide. Together, we can be a great resource of Tour Guides, Travel Guides, Hunting Guides, Fishing Guides, Guest Ranches, even anyone interested in becoming a guide, or the person who can speak different languages and want to take people on guided shopping trips. Or the family who needs an interpreter in a strange land can always be useful. Groups, or individuals, we can help. We at Exotic Treks Tours have the vision of making your great vacation just a little better. We feel a great way to see new places is from the the people who live there, and can give the real thing as far as a guided experience! So Welcome To Our Family !!, and we hope you will grow with us. Together we will make a great service to all.
At this time this site is under construction and probably will always be. We will be listed soon in more of the search engines, come join us and we will grow together.
We welcome our newest additions to our web site. We have many hundreds of guide services listed at our office now, and we will add them here as we get time so keep checking back.
We just returned from a wonderful trip to China. We left October 7, 2003 and flew to Hong Kong.
We then took a bus and train to the border at Lo Wu and went to Shenzhen China a few days. You must see the Splended China Theme Park and a trip to Shenzhen beach.
Then I next proceded by bus to the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province.
If you like city lights, China will impress you. Guangzhou at night by the river is most beautiful. I was going to put on some photo but there are many you can see on line. Guangzhou is a very old and beautiful city. The resturants have great food. Many good crafts for sale also. Guangzhou has many wonderful parks to visit, and saw some great pond fishing ( Very large Fish ).
After 2 weeks visiting the trade shows there I went by bus east to Nanning, Guangxi Province. Nanning is a wonderful city I noticed the people seem very happy and love to sing and dance in the park in the evenings and I just missed the Nanning Songs Festival in November.
Nanning is just 4 hour train ride from the Vietnam border for those looking on the map.
From Nanning I rode a bus northeast to Liuzhou just about 2 hours.
It is most beautiful and friendly people. See the parks and lakes there.
From Liuzhou I bought a train ticket to Chongqing. I had a soft sleeper room 4 beds but I was alone it was very nice. Lace table cloth and red carpet.
24 hours on the train was a long time. But it was great for taking video.
Chongqing is very large and I was just there a short time but Little Chongqing City is great to visit and of course this is where you jump off to take the boats down the Yangtze River. I had planned on that trip but I went during winter and it started getting nasty weather cold and rain so I decided to take a train instead to Shanghai. A 54 hour trip again i had a Soft Sleeper. (good thing). I was not too long in Shanghai so I didnt see much I got on the train back to Guangzhou another 24 hour ride. There is much to see and do in China. It has a good transportation system and is not expensive to travel. the food is good and very inexpensive.
Dec 4, 2003 I left China for Hong Kong and caught a flight to Singapore. I went North to Kluang Johor to see my good friend at Spot Adventure. We had a great visit and a good dinner. On to Kuala Lumpur I went and spent a few days there. Then back to Singapore and then to Hong Kong Dec 16, 2003 and the flight home on China Airlines. Thru Taipei to San Francisco California and home to Oregon.
It was a most wonderful trip. Made some great new friends along the way.
I can't wait to go back!!
Get ahold of us and we can all go together next time.
We are also trying to put together a trip to Malaysia, in cooperation with Spot Adventures. I have a few interested in going now. I hope we can get a group together for a 2004 trip. I am looking forward to a very nice vacation package for all of you interested.
I spent time with Mr. Simon Teo on the beautiful Islands of Pulau Aur, and Pulau Dayang, Johor, Malaysia in September of 2000 and again on October - November 2001. And Just returned again in December 16, 2003. We had a very nice time there he is very very good at his job. He will make you feel very welcome and at ease. The food is so good you will not want to come home. We hope to be ready soon with a trip for some shopping and sightseeing and fishing in Malaysia, or just to relaxing under the palms and the warm breezes. We can all do it. Just like you dream a paradise should be, at a price that you can afford.
Just give us a call if you would like to discuss this further.
