Malaysia Jungle Treks

This was a nice surprize when I came to Malaysia, I was able to See The Jungle with the help of my fine friends Priah, Norman, and Sathia.
This wonderful place Is Just North Of Kuala Lumper, Malaysia. It Is Called Ulu Yam.
It was So Beautiful the butterflies were flying around as big as your hand and monkeys running thru the trees, there were fish in the clear cool stream.
Cool shade and even vines to swing on if you feel the urge !

Exotic Malaysia Treks

There were monkeys in the trees above us and huge Birdwing Butterflys flying around.
Here is one that was caught by my friend.



In the Photo the Butterfly is known as "Trogonoptera brookiana". In My friends hand is pictured a male.
They are of a group of southeast asian butterfly species known as the Birdwings (in Latin, "ornithoptera").
There is a related species in New Guinea (Ornithoptera alexandrae) whose females can have wingspans up to a foot.
