History
describes The Thar Desert as a place where only a brave-heart with iron legs can reach. The strong citadels in the Aravali ranges always felt
secure due to their inaccessibility. This adventurous trip through the Aravalis and
the Thar Desert covers regions of Rajasthan where nothing seems to have
changed... regions which a very few have seen.

Day01 - New Delhi: Welcome in India. Evening sound
and light show at Red Fort.
- Day02 - New Delhi: Daylong sightseeing of Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad) and Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Evening free to shop around the
busy Connaught Place.
- Day03 - Udaipur: Take the flight to Udaipur-the Lake City. Trip to Shilp Gram
Arts & Crafts village. Sunset boat trip over Lake Pichhola.
- Day04 - Udaipur: Sightseeing of the city and shopping
in the local bazaars. Visit Bharatiya
Lok Kala Mandal for Rajasthani dance performances. Optional dinner at the opulent
Shiv Niwas Palace.
- Day05 - Narlai: Drive through beautiful landscape of
Aravalli hill ranges and visit the incomparable Ranakpur temple on the way
before finally reaching Narlai- a beautiful palace hotel in serene forest
location.
- Day06 - Narlai: Horse safari to Kumbhalgarh fort
through hilly countryside witnessing tribal life closely. Back at Narlai, rest
of the day at leisure.
- Day07 - Mount Abu: Drive to the only hill resort of
Rajasthan known as Mount Abu. Visit the Dilwara temples with their unbelievable
filigree on marble. Rest of the day free to visit the Nakki Lake at no fixed
point of time.
- Day08 - Daspan: Enter the rustic landscape of the
Great Indian Desert and drive through several interesting towns, villages and
settlements of Rabari tribes finally reaching village Daspan. Stay in the
Castle here.
- Day09 - Daspan: Move around in the region for
colorful bazaars in nearby Sindhari town, beautiful temples all around and unspoiled
village life. Relish local cuisine in one of the villages.
- Day10 - Barmer: Drive further to Barmer to witness
local craftsmanship and shop for beautiful pieces of handicrafts. Drive further into a village towards Jaisalmer
located on perfect desert settings. Leave the vehicle and proceed on camels to
explore in the desert for some time till reached at the tented camp for night
stay. Meals and cultural performances in starlit night at the tented camps.
- Day11 - Jaisalmer: After a leisurely breakfast drive
further to Jaisalmer - The Golden City. In the evening walk in the still inhabited fort of Jaisalmer with a
distinct and vibrant lifestyle.
- Day12 - Jaisalmer: Morning sightseeing tour of the old town and
various other attractions of this fairy tale city. In the evening, excursion to
Samm Sand Dunes for the sunset views of the desert.
- Day13 - Jodhpur: Drive straight to Jodhpur. On
arrival visit the majestic Mehrangarh fort and the busy bazaars around Clock
Tower in the old town. Optional dinner at Ummaid Bhawan Palace.
- Day14 - Jodhpur: Excursion to Osian temple town or
half day jeep safari in Bishnoi villages. In the evening transfer to Railway Station and board Mandore Express for
Delhi. Night on board.
- Day15 - New Delhi: Reach New Delhi in the morning.
Transfer to hotel. Day free till the time of departure. Transfer to airport at
appropriate time.
