Art Fiberglass is so simple to install

Art Fiberglass is easy to install and to cut you can use any saw.

  • #1. Use a small moulding or strip of wood and attach it to your window sides and top and bottom by small nails. (or pre drill and use small screws) Pre drill it so you don't crack it.
  • #2. Measure and cut your artfiberglass to fit be sure to allow the 1/8 inch spacing for expansion.
  • #3. Then install your artfiberglass. Allow some room for expansion and contraction, 1/8 inch should do.
  • #4 Next Seal around your panel. Seal it with silicon or any other sealing product if needed.
  • #5. Add a second strip of wood to hold it in place against the other. and your done.

  • Ceilings. In a ceiling, you can replace your old lighting panels easy with Artfiberglass.
    If you don't like the dividers, try a long bolt system to hang it from and just a nut showing or even some wire.
    We can get large panels but they must be supported or they will droop or sag in time.

  • Shower Doors. If you have a shower door you would like to have Artfiberglass in, you can just use your existing frames if they have a screw to remove the old panel. Be sure of your size !
    Seal the Artfiberglass at the edges and reinstall the same way you removed the old panel. Or you may call you local glass shop and they can install it for you and the same with your doors and skylights. So it is a good idea to call ahead and check this out.
    Precaution

    If you can order the Artfiberglass a little large maybe 2 inches or so Larger then recut them after they arrive. This is incase they have damage from shipping. it seems the shippers are so rough at times we try to protect them best we can and still keep the shipping weight light but they still can get some damage on the edges at times so this is a good idea if you are able to recut them. Be sure to Insure your shipment !!
